As we move forward, we hope that our followers will continue to experiment, create, and push themselves out of their comfort zone. Recipe Awards
Of course, we couldn’t end it all without a bit of reminiscing 😀
We’re gonna go through some of the recipes we tried during project bread. But to make it more fun, we’re going to give them awards based on the experience I had with them! I couldn’t help myself and I got ChatGPT to help me write an award script for the recipes, of course, it took a bit of editing, but here it is . . .
Welcome to the Project Bread Award Ceremony
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to announce the winners of this year’s Bread Recipe Awards. We have five incredible recipes that have been selected based on their level of difficulty, taste, and overall success rate.
First and foremost, I want to congratulate Tortillas, the winner of the Easiest Recipe award. Tortillas were a true time-saver, and the recipe didn’t require much rising time or the use of yeast. The simplicity and ease of preparation has earned tortillas this well-deserved award. Heck, you were so good I made you twice!

Next, I want to call up Cinnamon Raisin Bread, winner of the Most Difficult Recipe award. This recipe was an incredible feat, requiring so many resources and so much time to perfect. Despite the fact that I may never attempt this recipe again, it’s important to recognize that the efforts paid off, as the bread was absolutely delicious.

To the English Muffins, winner of the Yummiest Recipe award, I want to say that your flavour and texture were out of this world. Your long 18-hour rising process was worth the wait, and your taste left us speechless. You are a true culinary masterpiece, and we are grateful for your existence.

I also want to congratulate White Bread, winner of the Most Trial and Error award. Your recipe required a lot of patience, and it took a total of three attempts before you were truly looking and tasting your best. Your difficulty level is commendable, and we appreciate the effort it took to create you.

Last but not least, I want to call to the stage Buns, winner of the Biggest Lesson Learned award. Although your recipe didn’t turn out as expected and got your bottoms burned, we appreciate the lesson learned from your recipe. You helped us learn what goes into making the most perfect buns, and for that we thank you.

To all of you, my dear bread recipes, I want to express my admiration and gratitude for your unique qualities and characteristics. You have brought joy and satisfaction to so many people, and we are grateful for the time and effort you put into your recipes. Congratulations on your well-deserved awards, and we look forward to seeing what you will create next!
Summary
Overall I had so much fun with project bread and am so proud of myself for how far I’ve come since the beginning of January 2023. I can’t wait to continue on my bread journey. I wanted to touch on some of the key things I learned through this inquiry project. Not only did I learn how to make bread, but I also got better at taking photos of my creations, structuring my blog posts in an accessible way, and writing engaging posts! Look at that, so many wins! I learned that I was capable of getting better at things that seem really scary. I also learned that I love pretending I have a huge audience that I’m talking to when in reality like 2 or 3 people are probably going to read this.
Anyway, the thing I loved most about this class and inquiry project was how much creative freedom I had with this blog, it was truly liberating and I suddenly found myself not worrying about grades and instead expressed my thoughts and feelings how I wanted.
That’s all,
The end!
