Hey there!
My name is Jessica and I am in my second year of the elementary teaching degree at the University of Victoria. I come from a small town in B.C. known as the Sunshine Coast. I moved to Victoria in September of 2021, and I’m loving it!
When I’m not working, in class, or studying, I enjoy spending time with the people I’m close with, getting outdoors via hikes or bike rides, thrift shopping, listening to music, painting, taking photos, making little videos, and experimenting with cooking. My parents also live here in Victoria, so I try to visit them whenever I can.
I’m always trying something different or exposing myself to new experiences. It’s a little goal of mine to be a jack-of-all-trades, and It helps that I enjoy learning, so constantly trying out new things is super intriguing to me.
For the beginning of this blog, I hope to be using it primarily for logging all of my tech class experiences, including my bread-making inquiry project which you can find here.
